Is my data stored in the cloud?
No. LegalMind is local-first. Your documents, highlights, and annotations stay on your device. Only your account identity (via Clerk) and subscription state are cloud-backed.
What happens when I cancel?
You retain access until the end of your billing period. After that you move to the Free tier — your local data is preserved and nothing is deleted.
Is the trial a credit-card trial?
Yes — we collect payment details upfront to prevent abuse, but you will not be charged until the 7-day trial ends. Cancel anytime before that.
Do I get the same features on iOS and Android?
Yes. Feature parity is maintained across platforms. Your subscription is tied to your account, not a device.
Can I switch between Student and Advocate plans?
