Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of LegalMind ("the Service"), operated by LegalMind ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use LegalMind. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

  • Free tier features are available without payment.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay in INR.
  • Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
  • You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from the platform
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

The LegalMind brand, design, and original content are our intellectual property. Legal texts (statutes, judgements) are public domain or used under applicable government open data policies. Your personal notes, highlights, and annotations remain yours.

6. AI-Generated Content

LegalMind provides AI-assisted answers grounded in indexed legal sources. These are for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Always verify AI outputs independently and consult a qualified legal professional for specific legal matters.

7. Limitation of Liability

LegalMind is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content, data loss, or service interruptions.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your cloud-stored data will be deleted within 30 days.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
