Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through LegalMind via Razorpay.
1. Free Trial
All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, no payment will be collected.
2. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Dashboard settings.
- Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free tier.
- Your local data (documents, highlights, notes) is never deleted — it stays on your device.
3. Refunds
- Refund requests must be made within 7 days of a charge.
- Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis and typically approved for accidental charges, billing errors, or service issues.
- Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Partial-month refunds are not provided for mid-cycle cancellations.
4. Plan Changes
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email us at amaagra@matrikar.org with your registered email address and reason for the refund. You can also use our contact form. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
